My 1380 Mini
I wanted mini that would look good and go well for years, especially after having done a rally mini rebuild in about 1982. On a visit back to England in 1998, I spotted this outside a dealers in Surrey and decided that it was the right thing. It was a 1380c.c. with a blueprinted Stage 4 head, Minilight Alloys and reasonable if loud bodywork. Basically a sound car! A good price was negotiated after pointing out the shortcuts and work necessary to the dealer.

A list of improvements was compiled and delivered with car to a friends workshop and work progressing for about a year.

The visual results you can see; but that's by no means all that's been done... The list includes :-
New o/s front wing, rear subframe and valance. Unleaded Head, New SU Carb & K&N Filter, Racing Clutch, Oil Cooler, Electronic Ignition, RC40 Exhaust,
Timing belt, Spax adjustable suspension, Halogen headlamps & ICE.
