My Black Mini 1000
Well here it is . . . the new project as seen when I bought it! with an example next to it of hows it's going to look.
Over then following months I'll be updating these pages (for myself mainly) to give updates on the progress and what's been done (that if I can fit doing anying amongst all the other jobs that need doing at home!)

To start with this what I know it is number 53 of a set of 200 identical models that were sold by a Swedish dealer in 1975 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the mini. I have no idea if there are any others still out there?

Drove down and back in a day (1450 km) to trailer it back to Knivsta. To be honest it's bit worst than I though, but still salvagable, and I've promised Ingela not to do anything much until the blazer has been fixed.

Started to strip it down; bonnet, boot and doors are off. Started to cut out some of the rotten floor and sills and I think I'll remove the already patched ones and put the back in later. Just got that order to make for all those panels now!
On the way to Knivsta At least it has an engine!
Oops completely wrong sort of black mini ;o)
